Gunmen opened fire on Saturday on buses carrying Muslim voters to polling booths in Sri Lanka as the country began voting in the presidential election, police said. The attackers burnt tyres on the road and set up makeshift roadblocks to ambush the convoy of over 100 vehicles. There were no immediate reports of any casualties.
