Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2017 for raping two of his disciples, has been granted a 40-day parole. This comes three months after he was given a 21-day furlough. He walked out of the jail reportedly for the 14th time since 2017. He will now return to jail in mid-September.
