Gurugram recorded its highest temperature of the season at 46.8°C on Saturday, which was about eight degrees above normal. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert and warned that the heatwave could continue for the next two days. The minimum temperature recorded was 27.3°C, about four degrees above normal, said IMD.
