Guwahati International Airport has won the 2025 International Architecture Award for design inspired by Assam’s heritage. Created by Mumbai-based firm NUDES, the terminal uses bamboo and orchid motifs, blending sustainability with cultural identity. It can handle 10 million passengers annually and was praised for capturing the essence of Northeast India.
