A hacker who stole about $100 million from decentralised-finance (DeFi) application Mango got to keep around $50 million of the funds in various crypto assets after returning the rest on Saturday. The hacker had demanded erasure of bad debts. Mango's team then offered to let the hacker keep $50 million while promising no criminal prosecution and erasure of bad debt.
