Furniture rental startup RentoMojo's customers have received threatening emails from a hacker group after the firm revealed it suffered a data breach that could affect its 1.5 lakh subscribers. RentoMojo CEO Geetansh Bamania said hackers exploited "the cloud misconfiguration" to gain access to customer data. However, he assured that the financial information of customers was safe.
