The World Health Organisation (WHO) faced attempted hacks earlier this month, which a senior agency official said was a more than two-fold increase in cyberattacks, Reuters reported. WHO Chief Information Security Officer Flavio Aggio said the identity of hackers was unclear and the effort was unsuccessful. Aggio added the attempts against WHO and its partners have soared amid coronavirus.
