Dr Umang Patel from Gujarat who skipped the London-bound Air India flight that crashed in Ahmedabad, said, "After my wife requested that I not go to London, I cancelled the June 12 ticket." He added that his wife had asked him to cancel the ticket because he had developed a high fever following a visit to his in-laws' house.
