Speaking about the sudden evacuation of 25,000 spectators from the Dharamshala stadium during the PBKS-DC IPL 2025 match on Thursday, IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal said he had to ensure it happened without pressing the panic button. "We couldn't have allowed a stampede," he added. Dhumal further said he was intimated about the blackout protocol during the first strategic timeout.
