To reduce congestion at Pune Junction, Hadapsar station is being developed into a full satellite terminal under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. With a ₹135 crore investment, upgrades include longer platforms, modern facilities, and new lines. Despite infrastructure growth, last-mile connectivity issues remain. Authorities are working to improve access before the project completes by early 2026.
