Hindustan Aeronautics shares fell over 3% after a Tejas jet sustained major airframe damage when it overshot the runway due to a suspected brake failure earlier this month. This marks the third incident that involved Tejas jets. The first incident took place near Rajasthan's Jaisalmer in March 2024, and the second in November 2025 at the Dubai Airshow.
