Almost half of the Indian cricket team is without a bat sponsor after Nike decided not to renew its contracts with Indian cricketers. Nike, which accumulated losses to the tune of ₹500 crore in 2014-15, let go of its contracts with players including Ajinkya Rahane, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Manish Pandey, Axar Patel and Umesh Yadav.
