Half of tatkal tickets to cost more

Partially implementing the dynamic fare system, the railway ministry, on Thursday, decided to sell 50% of the tatkal tickets at higher prices than before. The scheme, called the 'Premium Tatkal Ticket' will be applicable on 80 trains that have been selected based on popularity. Railways has described the move as a measure of preventing the menace of touts.
