Hamas said it is ready to negotiate a comprehensive deal to release all remaining hostages in its custody in return for an end to the Gaza war. Rejecting Israel's offer of a 45-day interim ceasefire, Hamas asserted the group would no longer agree to partial agreements. It also accused Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu of using temporary truces for political purposes.
