Officials from the Department of Archaeology, Museums, and Heritage conducted a two-day cleaning drive at Hampi's Salu Mantapa on November 25-26. Stagnant, polluted water and overgrown weeds near the Tungabhadra riverbank were cleared. A report with GPS-tagged photographs has been submitted to the Chief Minister's Office, restoring the historic site and ensuring better maintenance for visitors.
