Speaking at the launch of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi quoted Albert Einstein, saying that "The hardest thing in the world to understand is the Income Tax". However, he claimed that the new tax regime is simple, transparent, and will end corruption. He was speaking during the midnight session in Parliament's Central Hall.
