Billionaire Harsh Goenka posted on X that RCB have been bought by Birlas, calling it a "great move". This comes after reports claimed that a consortium of Aditya Birla Group, American sports investor David Blitzer, Blackstone and others is the lead contender to acquire RCB. Earlier today, Kal Somani-led consortium bought Rajasthan Royals for $1.63 billion (₹15,300 crore).
