Fulfilling a major promise made to Sikh community and the people of Haryana, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has ensured inclusion of history of Sikh Gurus and Baba Banda Singh Bahadur in Class 8 history curriculum. Students will now learn about sacrifices, martyrdom, ideals and enduring legacy of Sikh Gurus as well as Baba Banda Singh Bahadur.
