Congress MLA from Haryana's Badli, Kuldeep Vats, underwent surgery for black fungus or mucormycosis, his family said. "The infection was scraped off from near his forehead on Wednesday. He is fine now," said his son Jatin Vats, adding that the MLA has suffered from COVID-19 twice. Kuldeep Vats had defeated BJP's OP Dhankar in the 2019 assembly polls.
