Haryana DC orders verification of 13,000 paddy farmers

Karnal Deputy Commissioner Anand Kumar Sharma has directed SDMs to verify details of 13,000 paddy farmers whose produce hasn't reached mandis in over a month. Patwaris and the revenue department will conduct the checks. The order follows stepped-up monitoring of suspected illegal paddy inflow from Uttar Pradesh, with two FIRs already registered.
