Haryana drops colonial era 'Hailey' from Gurugram college name

The Haryana government has dropped the colonial-era name 'Hailey' from a government college in Jatauli Mandi, Gurugram, as part of a move to remove the name from the area altogether. The Government College, Jatauli Haily Mandi (Gurugram), will now be called Government College, Jatauli Mandi (Gurugram), according to an official letter from the Higher Education Department.
