The Haryana government announced that March 31 will be a "restricted" holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr instead of a "gazetted" holiday due to the closing of the financial year 2024-25. As Eid-ul-Fitr falls on the same day, Friday, government employees can take leave if needed. "An official notification has been issued in this regard," stated the Haryana government.
