Haryana's State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau on Saturday arrested a state government employee working in panchayat department in connection with ₹590-crore IDFC First Bank fraud case. He is accused of transferring ₹1 crore government funds through a private agency to his bank account and acted as a "middleman" in the fraud. The accused has been sent to six-day police remand.
