Haryana’s Town and Country Planning Department has amended the Haryana Building Code-2017, making EV charging infrastructure mandatory in residential and non-residential buildings. All new and renovated non-residential buildings with parking for at least 10 cars must provide one charging point for every three parking slots. EV infrastructure will also be exempt from Floor Area Ratio (FAR) limits.
