A man allegedly strangulated his 13-year-old daughter in Haryana's Sonepat over suspicion of her affair with a man from the same village. "The girl's father claimed...she died after falling from stairs," said Sonepat Sadar SHO Deepti Garg. "The autopsy revealed...there were injury marks on the girl's body and she died due to strangulation. We have arrested the father," she added.
