Haryana NCR petrol pumps to check PUC before refuelling

Haryana's transport department has mandated that petrol pumps in NCR districts verify valid PUC certificates before refuelling vehicles, effective October 1. Vehicles without valid PUC will be denied fuel. Pumps will use ANPR cameras for verification; manual checks until systems are operational. Violations attract fines up to ₹10,000 under Motor Vehicle Rules.
