Haryana private hospitals halt Ayushman services for 24 hrs over pending dues

Private hospitals across Haryana on Tuesday suspended services under the Ayushman Bharat scheme for 24 hours, alleging prolonged delays in reimbursement by the state government. According to the Indian Medical Association, 650 hospitals have around ₹1,200 crore in pending dues. The hospitals warned that Ayushman services would be suspended indefinitely from September 16 if dues were not cleared.
