The Haryana government will provide a monthly pension of ₹2,500 to cancer patients in the state. Patients suffering from Stage 3 and Stage 4 cancer will be eligible to receive the amount. The beneficiaries will be eligible to receive the amount even if they avail other social security pensions or old age pension schemes, an official statement read.
