A woman from Haryana’s Panipat allegedly killed three girls in her family by drowning them in water tubs or tanks because she believed they were more beautiful than her and was jealous of them. She also killed her son to cover up the crime and was arrested after killing her niece on December 1. She confessed to killing all four.
