Haryanvi folk singer Sapna Choudhary was admitted to a hospital in Najafgarh after she allegedly attempted suicide by consuming poison on Sunday. In a note, the 21-year-old has reportedly said an online campaign against her abetted her to commit suicide. This comes after an FIR was registered against Choudhary for allegedly hurting a Dalit community's sentiments during a stage performance.
