Hatred of sound called misophonia a genuine problem: Study

UK-based researchers have revealed that hating sounds like loud chewing or noisy breathing is a genuine problem. Noticeable activity in brain scans was observed in volunteers listening to various neutral and unpleasant sounds, depicting hatred of sound known as Misophonia. Brain activity was seen for all for unpleasant sounds but was incredibly strong for the misophonic patients, said researchers.
