After being conferred with the Bharat Ratna, former President Pranab Mukherjee took to Twitter to express his gratitude. "It is with a deep sense of humility...to the people of India that I accept this great honour," he tweeted. "I have always said...I have got more from the people of our great country than I have given to them," he added.
