Talking about empty stands witnessed in the World Cup opener between England and New Zealand, ex-India cricketer Ravi Shastri said the home team should play the opening match "at all costs". "If this was India vs England, you would be guaranteed a full house. Even on a weekday, at least 70,000-80,000 people would have come in," he stated.
