Havells India has resolved a long-standing trademark dispute with the HPL Group and agreed to pay ₹129.6 crore as part of the settlement. HPL has acknowledged Havells' absolute rights to the 'HAVELLS' trademark since 1971. It has also agreed to waive all claims related to the trademark, cease using any similar mark, and change its corporate name to avoid confusion.
