Actress Yami Gautam has said that having a fair complexion was important for a girl to get a good groom or a good job and that earlier ad-films used to promote colourism through fairness creams. Adding that she is glad that dialogue has started on the definition of beauty, she said, "It should be an individual's choice to look fair."
