Hawaiian Airlines plans to reduce its non-contract employees after it completed a $1.9 billion merger with Alaska Airlines last month. The Hawaiian Airlines layoffs initially set out to affect 73 people but an industry expert said that more people will be laid off in the future to non-bargaining members.
