The Patna High Court dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) challenging the award of Bihar's ₹28,000-crore Pirpainti Thermal Power Project to Adani Power Ltd. It stated that the allegations made are "vague" and "nebulous". The petitioner alleged that, when compared with similar projects in Maharashtra and MP, tariff accepted for project was significantly higher and was therefore arbitrary.
