HC extends Abhishek Banerjee's relief from arrest in 3 cases till Aug 31

The Calcutta High Court extended TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's interim protection from arrest in three criminal proceedings till August 31. It also fixed August 25 as the date for passing a final order on Abhishek's petition to quash three FIRs against him. This comes after the Supreme Court allowed him to travel abroad for three weeks for an eye surgery.
