The Delhi High Court has granted a compensation of ₹1 crore to the family of a fourth-year engineering student killed in a road accident in 2017. The court also granted ₹84 lakh compensation to the kin of another student killed in the same accident. An insurance firm had filed appeals seeking a reduction of a compensation granted earlier.
