The Karnataka High Court directed the state police not to take any coercive action against the office bearers of Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) in connection with the stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The High Court said that it will be subject to condition that KSCA officials shall cooperate with the investigation. At least 11 people died in the stampede.
