The Madras High Court has ordered an FIR against Tamil Nadu Forest Minister K Ponmudi for his remarks that allegedly targeted Saivites, Vaishnavites and women in a vulgar manner, India Today reported. The court observed that the DMK leader's remarks were derogatory towards women and religious sentiments. Ponmudi has also been removed as DMK Deputy General Secretary following his remarks.
