The Bombay High Court has set aside Maharashtra education board's decision to debar a class X student accused of tearing two pages from her Marathi language exam's answer sheet. The student had been debarred despite an internal enquiry report finding that she was not guilty. The court said that the decision was a "clear case of perversity."
