Holding that a PhD scholar's resignation could not be treated as voluntary when it was submitted after her complaint remained unaddressed and was accepted on the very day it was tendered, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has set aside IIT-Ropar's decision accepting the resignation of a research scholar and directed to allow her to continue her doctoral programme.
