The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday made it clear that the proposed Tribune Chowk flyover in Chandigarh could not be permitted as it would violate the provisions of Master Plan-2031. The Bench headed by Chief Justice Sheel Nagu further said an underpass was permissible and could be considered as an alternative traffic solution.
