Madhya Pradesh High Court has sought the government and parents' reply on a PIL filed over the death of a three-year-old girl suffering from brain tumour who was made to undergo 'Santhara' ritual. Santhara is a Jain religious practice wherein an individual voluntarily chooses to end their life through fasting. Children shouldn't be allowed to take the vow, PIL said.
