Punjab and Haryana high court has stayed the Haryana government's decision to give reservation to Jats and four other castes in the state government jobs under the 'Specially Backward Class (SBC)' quota. Earlier, the Supreme Court had cancelled the reservation for Jats in the central government jobs by rejecting recommendations to provide OBC quota for them.
