HD Kumaraswamy asks banks not to pressure Mysuru farmers

Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has directed officials not to pressurise farmers in Mysuru district to repay loans amid a drought-like situation caused by poor rainfall and crop losses. He also instructed authorities to ensure that eligible farmers are covered under crop insurance schemes and that those who have suffered crop losses receive compensation.
