India's biggest private lender HDFC Bank said on Wednesday that its board has approved reappointment of Atanu Chakraborty as part-time Non-Executive Chairman and Independent Director for three years. This would mark Chakraborty's second term in the position, starting from May 5, 2024. The appointment will now have to receive approval from Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
