HDFC Bank CEO and MD, Sashidhar Jagdishan, has approached the Supreme Court seeking to quash the FIR filed by Lilavati Medical Trust against him. Lilavati Medical Trust accused Jagdishan of accepting ₹2.05-crore bribe from former trustee Chetan Mehta, for helping him retain control over the Trust's governance. Jagdishan is also accused of interfering in internal affairs by misusing his position.
