HDFC Bank rises 3% as CEO candidates' names sent to RBI

HDFC Bank shares gained 3.18% after the bank submitted two preferred candidates and their proposed remuneration to the RBI for the next MD & CEO. The move follows Sashidhar Jagdishan's decision not to seek reappointment, with his tenure ending on October 26, 2026.
